SunRidge Canyon: Climbs Up The Ranks

By • Jun 6th, 2009

What makes this Keith Foster design so different from the rest is how the course sits on the Eastern slope of the McDowell Mountains. This creates numerous holes that feature elevation change, canyons and target style desert golf that you expect to see while in Arizona. Since opening in 1996, SunRidge Canyon has risen fast to be one of the best Arizona elite golf facilities in the Scottsdale golf scene.

This is why Golf Magazine had a Readers Choice Poll that ranked the course the 26th best golf course in the United States. The rankings were based solely on Golf Digest Publications and an online poll that was conducted over the summer of 2008.

Factors that come into play when ranking a golf course is the overall quality of the course, golf course conditions, pace of play, guest service and its reputation with fellow golfers.

Make SunRidge your next course to play in Arizona when you visit or if you are local in town.
