Arizona Golf Vacations

El Conquistador Golf Club

The El Conquistador Country Club is home to 36-holes of true desert style golf, the Conquistador and Canada. These golf courses boast amazing views of the Santa Catalina Mountains as well as natural desert terrain. Located in north Tucson, these two golf desert gems offer spectacular golf conditions that will not break the bank.

The Conquistador golf course is a desert style course with average size fairways and amazing desert views that rarely come into play except as a backdrop. There are areas where the course will present a park-like feel in middle of the desert as fairways wind through luxury housing golf communities.

The Canada golf course is very similar in terrain to its sister courses, except Canada offers a small increase in elevation change and slightly narrower fairways. Trouble surrounds many of the average sized greens. Park-like areas also present themselves of this golf course as well; however, more strategy is required on Canada in order to score well.

Scenic Fact: Hole #16 on this Tucson golf course offers remarkable views of Pusch Ridge and the Santa Catalina Mountains.
